Soul • Motown • Timeless Entertainment

Meet Chris Thomas

Originally from Chicago, Chris Thomas is a dynamic vocalist, entertainer, and frontman known for blending timeless showmanship with the soul, energy, and audience connection of modern live performance. While his performances today are heavily rooted in soul, Motown, R&B, and crossover classics, his natural connection to the timeless music of Frank Sinatra, Michael Bublé, and the Great American Songbook continues to influence his style and stage presence.

Now based in Jacksonville, Florida, Chris spent years building one of the region’s most recognized live entertainment acts before stepping away to recover from vocal cord nodules. What could have ended a career instead became the beginning of a new chapter. Returning stronger than ever, he launched The Chris Thomas Project, a fresh evolution focused on high-level live entertainment and unforgettable audience experiences.

In addition to music, Chris was also a professional competitive ballroom and Latin dancer for more than 20 years, a background that still shapes his charisma, movement, and crowd interaction on stage today.

Chris’s stage presence and vocal versatility have earned him opportunities to perform for audiences across the country and abroad, including appearances at the Florida Theatre, FSCJ Artist Series, Jacksonville Jazz Festival, corporate galas, luxury weddings, TEDx events, Jacksonville Jaguars events, and as a featured guest entertainer with Virgin Voyages.

Backed by an exceptional team of musicians, Chris delivers performances ranging from intimate acoustic experiences to full-scale productions designed to fill dance floors and create lasting memories. Today, The Chris Thomas Project continues to perform throughout the Southeast and beyond, bringing timeless music, modern energy, and world-class entertainment to every stage.

  • Born and raised in Jacksonville, 29-year-old multi-instrumentalist Luke Stribling has built a reputation as a dynamic and versatile performer throughout Northeast Florida and beyond. Inspired by his father at an early age, Luke began his musical journey on piano before spending several years playing guitar and eventually discovering his true voice on the saxophone at the age of nine. In addition to saxophone, he continues to actively perform on piano while also playing guitar, bass, and flute. One of Luke’s earliest musical milestones came in high school when he performed at Carnegie Hall with the Douglas Anderson Wind Symphony. With a strong early interest in electronic music production and composition, Luke initially pursued university studies to deepen his understanding of improvisation, composition, and instrumental performance in support of his production work. Along the way, however, he developed a deep passion for jazz. After studying the foundations of bebop, blues, and swing at University of Central Florida, he returned to Jacksonville to complete his Jazz Studies education under the mentorship of John Ricci at Jacksonville University. During his college years, Luke became a member of a Jacksonville-based brass band that toured extensively, recorded original music, and performed at many of Northeast Florida’s premier venues, including Daily’s Place, Seawalk Pavilion, and Colonial Oak Music Park. As a professional musician, Luke works as a freelance saxophonist, performing at private events for notable figures including Trevor Lawrence, contributing to recording projects, and sharing his passion for music through teaching. Today, he continues to expand his career as the saxophonist for The Chris Thomas Project while also performing internationally aboard Virgin Voyages as a guest artist alongside Chris Thomas’ five-piece band. Known for his energetic performances, genre versatility, and commanding stage presence, Luke brings a modern yet soulful approach to every performance — honoring the traditions of the music that came before him while remaining authentic to his own artistic voice.
